The original Kitten With a Whip cover on this classic pulp paperback, a great piece of sixties paranoid noir, starring the great beauty Tuesday Weld. See my comments about Ann-Margaret and the author (Wade Miller, the pen name of Robert Wade and Bill Miller) in the previous post. I never thought of it this way before, but Kitten with a Whip is a beatnik-home-invasion story, which sounds kinda cute… I would not be the first person, however, to mention that it kind of anticipated the Manson home-invasion-slaughter, and that’s not cute at all.
